CSK posted a formidable total of 211 runs, thanks to valuable contributions from Devon Conway, Moeen Ali, and Ambati Rayudu. However, LSG's bowlers kept the scoring in check, with Avesh Khan and Dushmantha Chameera taking crucial wickets. In the chase, de Kock and Lewis provided a solid start with an opening partnership of 99 runs. De Kock scored 61 runs off 45 balls, while Lewis smashed 55 runs off just 23 deliveries.
