Alex Galchenyuk Signed By Avalanche

The Avalanche have signed 2012 No. 3 overall draft pick Alex Galchenyuk to a one-year deal through the remainder of the 2022-23 season.
Galchenyuk was drafted by the Canadiens in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and has played in 418 NHL games, scoring 108 goals and recording 147 assists.
The 29-year-old forward has played for the Canadiens, Arizona Coyotes, Minnesota Wild, Ottawa Senators, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
Galchenyuk is a skilled player with a good shot and playmaking ability.
He is expected to provide the Avalanche with some depth at forward.
The Avalanche are hoping that Galchenyuk can help them win their first Stanley Cup since 2001.
