Trump is expected to announce his legal team's appeal of the charges against him
Former US President Donald Trump (2017-2021) announced today that his legal team will appeal his conviction on 34 criminal charges related to the January 6 Capitol Riot. Trump, who is the first former US president to be criminally charged, did not address the media today, but is expected to do so tomorrow at 11:00 AM ET.
